Lisa Youngblood Hall
FCPS Chief Experience and Engagement Officer

Lisa Youngblood Hall is an award winning C-Suite executive with 31 years of communications experience. She brings extensive expertise in maximizing community impact and driving innovative solutions through comprehensive strategic planning and execution and building positive brand awareness. She is known for bridging the gap and building trust between families, leadership and organizations.

As the Chief Experience and Engagement Officer at FCPS for the past two years, she oversees six offices that contribute to the educational and engagement experiences of students, families and the community. She is responsible for superintendent engagement and messaging, including Community Conversations, FCPS Family Vision Group, Faith Leaders meetings, boundary review community engagement, opioid awareness and appearance requests. She also represents the superintendent’s office within the community and at community organization meetings.

She began her career in 1993 as an associate producer with The Oprah Winfrey Show, then  working as the Director of Public Relations and Marketing for Child Advocate of Santa Clara & San Mateo Counties from 2001 to 2003. Lisa worked as a producer, writer, executive producer and freelance producer in Seattle, Washington from 2004-2013.

She has worked as a communications specialist since 2010, working as the Assistant Director of Media Relations and Communications for the University of Washington Bothell in 2014, then as the Interim Director of Media Relations and Communications from June 2015 until being make the director in September of that year.

Lisa was the Chief Communications and Experience Officer for the Northshore School District, the eighth largest district in the state of Washington between 2020 and 2022 before being hired by Fairfax County Public Schools.

Lisa received a Bachelor of Arts in Radio, Television, & Film with a minor in Journalism from the University of Maryland College Park.
