Meredith Ayala

Manager, Grants + Program Development

Meredith Ayala believes in creating inclusive spaces in which all voices are valued and leading with LUV – listening, understanding, and validating. Prior to joining Educate Fairfax, Meredith proudly worked as the Family Partnerships Specialist, Military-Connected Youth & Families, and a professional school counselor at Edison High School, Hayfield High School, and West Potomac Academy. She has also served in leadership roles with Northern Virginia Community College, Marymount University, and the Graphic Arts Education and Research Foundation. Meredith holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Speech Communication from James Madison University, a Masters in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, from Chapman University, a Masters in Psychological Services from Marymount University, a Postgraduate Professional License (Administration & Supervision PreK - 12) from the Accelerated Credential Cohort, through FCPS and the University of Virginia, and is currently enrolled in the PhD in Organizational Leadership program at Shenandoah University studying organizational culture and belonging. She is a creative and innovative leader who believes in the power and impact of intentional connections and looks forward to working with every school throughout the division!
