Liz Brocato

Program Support Specialist

Liz comes from a family of philanthropists – her parents were very involved in the Falls Church community. As a kid, she was helping them – from delivering Meals on Wheels, muscling through furniture donation delivery to families in need, to participating in monthly gatherings for a group of adults with special needs. Born and raised in Fairfax County and an FCPS graduate, she earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from James Madison University with a concentration in Marketing. She started her career with Toys R Us, working her way into a corporate customer service manager position. As she took on a full time parenting roll, Liz renewed her love of volunteering in the community – both in her children’s schools, as well as with the community pool and civic association. Some highlights include helping start Special Olympics programs at the elementary, middle and high school levels, coordinating Fun Fairs and Market Days to raise funds both in the school and community, and having a little fun designing and selling merchandise to raise money for the Athletic Boosters at the high school level. She’s a firm believer that anyone can succeed with the proper supports. Liz is also a lifelong Baltimore Orioles fan – Let’s go O’s!
